In 1377, Korea produced Jikji, the world’s oldest book printed with movable metal type. Korea used metal type 78 years before it was first used in Europe.

Jikji is currently on display at the National Library of France. (2023. 04.12 ~ 07.16) We urge people around the world to pay attention so that Jikji Simcheyojeol (Jikji), the oldest movable metal type in the world, can be displayed in Korea.
